February 2012 - Watercolor Demo by Jan Kilburn.
Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at 6:30 pm
at Jensen's Farmwood Village, 6 Deerfield Drive, Dover, NH
Jan Kilburn paints the seacoast of Maine and NH outside or in her studio. She captures the beauty of the New England coast with its capes and flower gardens. Mostly self taught, Jan has studied with Doris Rice, Judy Wagner, Tony VanHasselt and Peter Spataro. Her passion for color gives her paintings a quality of their own. Her subjects are common and simple, but when translated onto paper using her soft but bright colors, she transforms them into something expressive and alive. She teachs watercolor classes."I want you to feel the beauty and warmth in these subjects." www.jankilburn.com
Also Bob Goudreau will talk about taking credit card transactions on a smart phone using the Square device.
GBAA Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month from September till June.
